The organisation of overseas medical treatment for patients from North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East is one of Medilink's major activities. Medilink collaborates with various reputable hospitals in the UK and mainland Europe to which patients are referred. Our major clients are Ministries of Health and Government bodies which sponsor the overseas referral of their patients, as well as private, self-paying patients who wish to be treated overseas. The hospitals we work with are carefully selected and are committed to offer the best possible treatment to patients, whilst at the same time assisting our clients with the development of medical services within their country.

As part of the support services we offer to our clients, we will also assist in the logistics of patient referrals and will process a hospital appointment for patients in need of treatment, process all necessary visas, make travel and accommodation arrangements for patient and companions, assist patients throughout their journey and act as a liaison between their local doctor and the consultant treating them in order to ensure efficiency and continuity in treatment. A very important role is that of matching the needs of the patient with the correct treatment provider thus ensuring that the patient is treated at the best possible centre for the particular condition.
